Terms

$CHART
In-app points earned from coins in runs. No token, no market price, no cash value, and they cannot be transferred.
Coins
Gold coins collected during a run. They make up the run's score and earn $CHART.
Daily chart
One shared chart per UTC day with the same candles and seed for every player.
Equity
Balance plus unrealized PnL.
Funding
A periodic payment between longs and shorts on perpetual futures. The top bar shows the BTC-PERP rate and the time to the next payment. SIM positions do not pay or receive funding.
Game layer
The runner and coins drawn over the live chart. Off by default.
Level
Your rank, raised by XP. Levels unlock runner skins and the Blue laser, never trading features.
Liquidation price
The price at which a leveraged position is closed automatically and its margin is lost.
Margin
Balance locked to hold a position: notional ÷ leverage.
Mark price
The price used to value positions. In SIM it is the latest price.
Notional
Position value: size × price.
Quest
A daily goal with an XP reward, such as 3 recorded SIM trades in a day.
Room
A shared live chart with chat and drawing together, joined by link or code.
Run
One go of the runner across the candles, scored by the server.
SIM
Paper trading on live prices. Every account starts with 10,000 USDT of SIM balance.
Streak
Consecutive UTC days, up to today, with at least one scored run or recorded SIM trade.
Trading Cup
A timed SIM perps competition hosted from one link. Final standings are frozen on the server with a hash.
uPnL
Unrealized profit and loss on open positions.
XP
Experience points from closed SIM trades, quests and runs. XP raises your level.

Trading in ChartRunner is simulated (SIM): no real money moves. Trading real crypto assets and perpetual futures carries a high level of risk.
